As the second largest city in Denmark Aarhus offers a wide range of shopping possibilities, whether you are looking for the hottest designer goods, the international classics or a good barging.
The 2 km long high street, Strøget, in the absolute centre of Aarhus is buzzing on the warm summer days in July. A visit to the two large department stores, Magasin and Salling or a trip to the shopping centre, Bruuns Galleri, shouldn’t be missed.
Behind the Cathedral you find the Latin Quarter. There you can take a stroll down the old and cobblestoned streets and take a closer look at the small designer shoe-, clothing-, and art and crafts shops.
If you need a break, you will easily be tempted to visit one of the many cafés in the city centre. In between the city centre and the centre of Football Festival® you find the shopping centre Storcenter Nord, with more than 60 different shops, restaurants and more than a 1000 free parking spaces.
