Being an ancient Viking city, Aarhus is located right at the sea. As a participant of Football Festival® Denmark, you will have access to both the busy city centre as well as the relaxing nature with the delicious sandy beaches less than 10 minutes away from the FF®D Centre.

You can swim in pure and clean water from the wide beaches to the north of the city. In the Aarhus Bay, the water temperature during Football Festival® is almost always relatively high, and there are lots of possibilities for activities for children, youngsters, and grownups. You can also enjoy sailing of all kinds at the two large marinas. 

Both to the north and the south of the city centre, you can find lots of forest very close to the beach and the sea, where you have the possibility to hike, jog, and go on bike rides and go camping
